The Cocomo Resort, formally the Lagoon Beach Resort, is a small, personal resort, right on a private beach front on the Erakor Lagoon, and only 5 minutes from downtown Port Vila.

The resort has a variety of room categories to choose from, most of which have a beach view.  They offer eight Waterview Resort Rooms (4 with SPA bath), four 1-Bed Garden Studios, nine 2-bedroom townhouse-style Resort Apartments, one 4-bed Resort Apartment,  and 4 Deluxe Spa Villas; 2 Beach view and 2 Waterfront.

The modern, spacious Resort Rooms and Apartments are set in 4 blocks and are located amongst the tropical gardens, but only a short stroll to the beach, with the detached Deluxe Villas being set right on, or just set back from the beach and the water's edge.

The 4 Waterview Resort Rooms are on the first floor and offer 1 King or 2 twins beds, modern ensuite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries, living room with sofa, TV and French doors opening to a private balcony with table and chairs and views over the gardens to the beach.  The 4 Waterview Resort Spa Rooms are on the ground floor, and additionally have a jetted spa bath, separate shower, a private courtyard garden at the back and private furnished terrace at the front, with direct access to the lawns and the beach. The 4 Garden Studios are located on the end of the back 2 blocks, and are similar the the standard Resort Rooms, with views of the gardens but still a short stroll to the beach.

The 2-bed Resort Apartments are great for families with lots of space and amenities.  Upstairs, they offer a shared bathroom and 2 separate bedrooms with a combination of either 2 king beds or split into 4 singles, with a couple of apartments having double bunk beds.  The master bedroom has a TV/DVD player as well as a private balcony with views over the gardens towards the beach. Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a 6 seater dining table, a spacious lounge area with double sofa bed, chairs and coffee table, TV, floor safe, work desk and chair, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi Internet access, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine and dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fans, and complimentary children's equipment such as portacots, high chairs, baby baths and strollers.  Outside there is a large, shaded patio with 6 seater patio set and direct access to the lawns to stroll across to the beach.  There is also  one 4-bed Apartment, offering similar amenities to the 2-bed, and is ideal for larger families or groups.

The 4 Deluxe Spa Villas are set either right on, or close to the beach front, and offer air conditioning and ceiling fans, an ensuite bathroom with jetted Spa tub, walk-in shower, double vanities, utility area with washing machine, dryer, airing rack, iron and ironing board and hanging rail, a spacious split level sleeping and living area, with a king bed, (could be split into 2 singles), galley kitchenette with fridge, sink, kettle, toaster, 2-ring hob and microwave, a lounge area with sofa, chairs and coffee table, TV, Wi-Fi Internet access, music system with iPod dock, floor safe, work desk and chair and 2 wooden bi-folding doors opening completely to a private shaded deck with table and chairs, and steps down to your own little tropical garden area or onto the beach, where your sun loungers are waiting.

In the centre of the property is a fresh water swimming pool with pool bar and The Deck Restaurant, which serves fresh tropical breakfast each morning, light lunches and snacks through the day, and an evening dinner menu.  The open air restaurant overlooks the pool and lagoon and offers a popular menu of family favourites with a Pacific flavour.  And being only 5 minutes from downtown Port Vila, there is a large choice of different restaurants and cuisines almost on your doorstep, or if you are in an apartment or Villa, you have your own kitchen, you can always visit the local supermarkets and fresh markets and cook your own leisurely meals, whenever you feel like it.  There is also a communal barbecue area, where you can cook your own, or the chef will be glad to show you how its done, Vanuatu-style.  Sometimes, they have a beach bonfire with music and food to enjoy right on the beach.

There is a kids club for children 2-4 years, which is also the local pre-school, and guests' children are more than welcome to join in with the local kindy, enjoying arts and crafts, music, singing and colouring. Older children are welcome to come along and help and play with the younger kids if they wish, and because this is a free community school, any donations of school or children's supplies are always very welcome.  There is also a children's playground and tennis courts for guests to enjoy, and the private beach gives easy access to the shallow lagoon where you can swim, snorkel, kayak or join in a game of beach volleyball with the other guests and staff, or even take on another Resort, and defend the Lagoon Resorts' pride!  They also have a traditional Melanesian Feast and Fire Show, with traditional music and entertainment. The resort can also book a range of tours and excursions for you, even a relaxing massage, to make sure you get the best of your time in Vanuatu.  As an added bonus, Lagoon Beach guests can use the facilities at their sister resort, the Erakor Island resort, where you can swim, snorkel or just chil out on their beach with a drink in hand.
