Formally know as the Hilton Prince Kuhio, the Hilton Waikiki Beach is a first class, 601 room hotel located on Kuhio Avenue, close to shops, restaurants and bars and just a five minutes stroll from Waikiki beach. The hotel was completely refurbished between 2007 and 2009, and they spent an impressive $65 million upgrading and replacing everything.
The tastefully furnished and renovated rooms and suites all have 1 King or 2 Double Hilton Serenity beds, ensuite marble-accented bathroom with complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, refrigerator, tea and Cuisinart coffee maker, 42" HDTV with interactive facilites, in-room laptop safe, work desk and chair, easy chair or chaise longue, high speed internet access (fee), MP3 alarm clock/radio, telephone with voicemail, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a private balcony. Some rooms have views out to the ocean whilst others have Koolau mountain and downtown Honolulu views.
The Executive Rooms are similar to the standard Guest Rooms, but are on the top few floors of this 37 storey property, with upgraded amenities and furnishings, and give complimentary access to the Executive Lounge, a private club which provides a light breakfast each morning, soft drinks and hors d'oeuvres each evening and a quiet, comfortable lounge to relax and read the paper, or catch up with work or emails online at any time during the day.
The 1-Bedroom Suites provide a separate bedroom with 1 King bed or 2 Double bed and spacious living room with sofa, chairs and an occasional desk. They still benefit from the same amenities as the Guest rooms, but with upgraded furniture and facilities, such as bathrobes, complimentary bottled water, views of the mountains, golf course or the ocean and access to the Executive Lounge.
The Mac 24-7 restaurant is open 24 hours a day and offers a varied breakfast menu, sandwiches, pastas, fresh fish and meat dishes and comforting desserts. If you want to eat in your room, 24-hour Room service is available offering your choice from the Mac 24-7 menu. For a quick breakfast or lunch bite, the Mac 2-Go coffee shop offers Starbucks coffee, breakfast pastries, cakes, snacks and drinks. The Lobby Bar offers our favourite drinks, tropical martinis and cocktails and a selection of pupus (appetizers).
The hotel's excellent facilities include a fitness room and a 10th floor pool deck surrounded by wide sun terraces, with sun loungers, cabanas, a jacuzzi and the Hang 10 poolside bar which serves snacks, light meals, drinks and cocktails throughout the day.
And when you want to explore around Honolulu and the Waikiki Beach area, you will find numerous shops, restaurants and attractions to experience.
Off the 24-hour Reception and lobby area, you will find wireless internet access in the Business Centre, a useful gift and convenience store, the bar, lounge, a hairdressers, safety deposit boxes, foreign currency exchange, luggage storage, Concierge Desk, Excursions and Tours desk, and the Ginger Lounge, which provides nightly entertainment.
The Hilton Waikiki Beach is a great hotel in a good location, and would make an ideal base for your Oahu vacation.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome. Children 17 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds. Cots are available free of charge, subject to availability. Rollaway beds are not available for any room catagory.
Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers are £33 per person. The resort is 10 mins from the airport. If you have a hire care, on-site valet parking is $25 per day.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow via Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer daily flights from Anchorage, Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. However, they can offer a same day connection by using Virgin Atlantic's flight from Heathrow to LA, They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
Hawaiian Airlines: They provide a large range of flights from cities in the American West to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in connection with other carriers flights from the UK. They also provide a weekly service between Honolulu and Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air:
Offer a very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from
Heathrow via Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way
around.
Domestic Flights around the Islands
There are currently three domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Aloha Island Air, Hawaiian Airlines and Go!. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters between
the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this time, there are
no seaplanes available for chartering in the Hawaiian chain, which
is a little disappointing for flying boat fans!
